The 12v EmeryAllen G4 retrofit lamp is an energy efficient alternative to 12v incandescent G4 base lamps. It offers similar light output to a 12v, 50w incandescent (400lm) and is suitable for use in most 12v G4 fixtures.

These bulbs were purchased to replace legacy halogen puck lights mounted under kitchen cabinets. The mounting of the existing lights did not allow an accurate measurement of the clearance length including the bi-pins before ordering, and unfortunately after receiving them they were about ~1/4″ too long to fit. However, in the attempts to fit them into the fixture I did mange to complete a circuit (at a protruding angle!), and the bulb lived up to their specs: very bright, nice dimming, and good CRi appearance. So from the bulb point of view they were great!
