The 120v EmeryAllen G8 retrofit lamp is an energy efficient alternative to incandescent G8 base lamps. It offers similar light output to a 120v, 50w incandescent (410lm) and is suitable for use in most 120v G8 fixtures.

I replaced 5 50 watt halogen bulbs in a chandelier with 5 of these 2700K bulbs. (removing the halogen bulb shade and bulb shade fitting) They fit perfectly, and are indistinguishable from the halogens. Plus they are using 1/10th the electricity – can’t beat it!
