The 120v EmeryAllen E12 retrofit lamp is an energy efficient alternative to incandescent E12 base lamps. It offers similar light output to a 120v, 20w incandescent (250lm) and is suitable for use in most 120v E12 fixtures.

Bulbs were a perfect fit for the application, but they are not inexpensive. Had the transaction not been flawless, I would have not taken the time to provide this review. EA’s site, ordering, processing, communication, even shipment packaging were all excellent.

Great bulbs. They dimmed perfectly with my Lutron Homeworks system. Returning them however in exchange for the E12 2.5W DTW which I had not seen previously. Hoping they will better match the warmth I desire upon dimming. Can’t wait to discover more LEDs to start swapping more bulbs throughout my house.

I have waited years for a company to develop or sell a LED bulb to replace my halogen E12 light base on my kitchen island. The light has 16 bulbs and with halogen the room reaches 80 degrees in minutes due to the heat they produced on this light fixture. The manufacturer at the time told me there weren’t any LEDs for this light fixture on the market yet. I search every year and finally found them with EmeryAllen. I must say I love them. They dim perfectly and my kitchen is finally at the right temperature even with the oven on. Though not cheap, I should be able to recover the costs in energy savings alone.
